From an early age, music has been an integral part of Asher Sparks’ life. Around age five or six, encouraged and guided by their mother, they developed a fascination with the piano. That early exposure sparked what has since become a lifelong love of music.
As a teenager, Asher’s musical curiosity veered off in a new direction when they stumbled across Wendy Carlos’ Switched-On Bach. The sounds on that record captivated them, sparking a desire to understand how they were created. That discovery ultimately led Asher to embrace synthesizers as their primary instrument.
Asher’s musical interest spans a variety of genres, and they draw inspiration from a diverse range of influences. They are passionate about blending technology with creativity, incorporating modern tools into their studio while still appreciating the warmth and character of vintage instruments and traditional recording techniques.
